Small Home Gazette, Fall 2010
Keith’s Magazine Online
An easier way to browse some of the issues is to go online. We found a website with images of hundreds of pages of 1914 issues of the magazine. These issues were, of course, published during the bungalow era and are therefore full of images and articles about bungalows and Arts & Crafts interiors. A second site contains 1904 issues that are pre-bungalow, but here and there you will still see images of “bungaloid” homes.
The magazine was intended for nationwide distribution, so isn’t terribly Minnesota-centric. Still, you can find the occasional Minneapolis or St. Paul house pictured, and a number of the ads are for Minnesota and Midwest businesses.
