Window to the Past: “Window Boxes and Their Care”

Would you like your window box to be authentic to the bungalow era? This page, from the March 1916 issue of Keith’s Magazine (published in Minneapolis), is the first of a six-page article that includes a full-page list of plants recommended for window box planting. There are also plenty of black-and-white photos showing planted window boxes on houses of the era.
